2 Separate Draws for “a truck load of firewood”
Approx. a cord (mix Hemlock & Alder, cut 16″ and split) that will fit in Wolfman Jake’s 8′ bed pickup truck. We are giving away 2 prizes of “a truck load of firewood” delivered but not stacked, to a Cortes Island or Quadra Island address, or available for pickup. Each truckload of firewood must be delivered/picked up by 17-Nov-23.
“WINNING TICKETS”
Each raffle ticket has a unique number. An online random number generator will be used to determine the winning numbers.
Wolfman Jake will announce the 2 winning ticket numbers on air at 89.5 FM Cortes Community Radio, streaming online at www.cortesradio.ca, on Tuesday Oct 31st, 2023 between 5 pm and 8 pm pst. The winning numbers will be posted online to Tidelines and 3 Facebook groups - Cortes Radio, We Heart Cortes Island, and Cortes Island is Home.
A winning number entitles the ticket holder to claim their prize of “a truck load of firewood.”
WINNERS: how to claim your prize(s)
Holders of the winning tickets must do at least ONE of the following: pre-register their winning ticket via email, or filled out their contact info on their ticket stub and left with a cashier at participating stores before the draw, or purchased their tickets online, or present their original winning ticket in person to a Cortes Radio representative.
Holders of the winning tickets MUST arrange to claim their prize by:
- -EITHER- Call 250-935-0200 and speak to a representative OR leave a voice mail message to arrange confirmation of winning ticket and claiming their prize
- - OR- EMAIL “raffle@cortesradio.ca” and provide your name, phone number, address, and a time that you are available to come to the station in order to claim their prize
- Holders of the winning tickets must claim their prize NO LATER THAN 5 PM FRIDAY NOV 10th 2023
If one or both prizes are not claimed by 5 pm Friday November 10th, 2023, another draw (or draws) will be conducted Saturday Nov 11th, with the winning ticket(s) to be posted online (as listed above). Holders of the new winning ticket numbers must claim their prize, as above by phone or email, no later than 5 pm Wednesday November 15th.

Winners consent to the release of their names by the licensee.
Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older. If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor’s parent, legal guardian or trustee.
